Overview

The C3 Splitter Project required synchronized delivery of engineering documentation, QA/QC records, and mechanical completion packages under firm deadlines. TEKMORN took over both Technical Office and Quality functions, standardizing workflows and connecting evidence to planning for reliable handover.

Challenges

  • Documentation inconsistency between disciplines and subcontractors.
  • Tight handover deadlines and mechanical completion pressure.
  • Missing or fragmented WPS/WPQ tracking and cross-checking.
  • Limited resources with a broad scope of deliverables.

Your Role & Actions

  • Ran both Quality and Technical Office (engineering) operations; established unified document control and traceability.
  • Prepared and coordinated Test Packages (engineering + quality) and structured turnover dossiers (digital & hardcopy).
  • Aligned QA/QC with planning through weekly dashboards and milestone tracking (no delays recorded).
  • WPS/WPQ cross-checks: validated subcontractor procedures against QC release records and project specs.
  • Verified real quantities versus contractual scope and revised pricelist, feeding accurate status to PM/Planning.
  • Introduced light automation with Python for repeatable documentation steps and consistency checks.

Key Takeaways

Integrating Technical Office and QA/QC functions under a single lead creates end‑to‑end visibility: correct WPS/WPQ, verified quantities, and planning‑linked documentation. The result is predictable handover and audit‑ready compliance—even with constrained resources.
